Best regards, Team LeCarage Register here A Future ClassicThe GTS wasn't revolutionary, but it was a masterful blend of the best features from other 911 models.
It borrowed the Turbo's wide body and extended rear track, utilized the 408bhp 3.8-litre engine from the Sport Classic, and included center-lock wheels from the GT3. This beauty only needs 4,2 seconds to get to 100 km/h. The revised front spoiler came from the accessories catalogue, while sports seats and active suspension management—typically options on lesser 911s—were standard. Unique touches included bespoke damper settings and a suede-lined interior. Notably, the rear seats were a no-cost option to make the car seem lighter, so be sure to tick that box unless you want to disappoint your children. We do not deny, the vast majority of the cars inside our Amsterdam sanctuary are Gentlemen. However, in this hall full of egos, came a young lady racer who will put everyone in his place on the track. Emma de Heus and her powerhouse from the Formula W series.
Emma de Heus and Her Formula 3 Machine Emma de Heus, a rising star in motorsport, has made significant strides in her career, from karting championships to the prestigious F1 Academy. Central to her recent success is the Formula 3 (F3) racing car, a marvel of modern motorsport engineering designed to push the boundaries of speed, agility, and precision. At the heart of this beast is a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder engine producing around 380 horsepower. This powerhouse offers an ideal balance between power and control, enabling the car to reach speeds exceeding 250 km/h with smooth yet aggressive acceleration. The car's body is crafted from lightweight composite materials, primarily carbon fiber, minimizing weight while maximizing strength. The aerodynamic design reduces drag and increases downforce, ensuring exceptional stability and handling at high speeds. Emma de Heus, with her formidable Formula 3 machine, is set to make a significant impact on the racing world. From its powerful engine and aerodynamic design to its advanced suspension and braking systems, every aspect of her car is optimized for speed, control, and precision. Emma is not just keeping up with her competitors; she's leading the pack and redefining what's possible on the track. We’re beyond excited to share that a gem of automotive history has just arrived at our Amsterdam storage depot – a fully restored 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL. This stunning classic, with its gleaming silver exterior and luxurious red leather interior, epitomizes the elegance and craftsmanship of 1950s motoring.
The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, first introduced in 1955, was the brainchild of designers Karl Wilfert and Walter Häcker. They envisioned a vehicle that combined the performance of a sports car with the luxury and comfort that Mercedes-Benz is renowned for. The result? A masterpiece on wheels. Our 1957 model exemplifies this vision with its sleek, aerodynamic lines and iconic front grille. The silver paintwork accentuates the car’s timeless design, making it a true head-turner. Step inside, and you’re greeted by a sumptuous red leather interior, meticulously restored to its original glory. The cabin, with its high-quality materials and attention to detail, offers a perfect blend of comfort and style, ensuring every drive feels like a special occasion. Underneath its elegant exterior, the 190 SL is powered by a 1.9-liter inline-four engine that delivers 104 horsepower. Coupled with a four-speed manual transmission, this classic beauty can reach a top speed of around 106 mph (171 km/h). While modest by today’s standards, the 190 SL provides a smooth and engaging driving experience that harkens back to a golden age of motoring. What truly sets this 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL apart is its eligibility for the Mille Miglia, one of the most prestigious vintage car rallies in the world. The Mille Miglia, with its rich history and challenging routes through Italy’s picturesque landscapes, is a celebration of automotive heritage. Owning a Mille Miglia-eligible 190 SL not only signifies its historical significance but also offers the chance to participate in an event that few get to experience. The fully restored 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL now in our collection is more than just a car – it’s a piece of history. Its exquisite design, luxurious interior, and Mille Miglia eligibility make it a prized possession for any collector or enthusiast. This classic continues to captivate hearts and minds, standing as a testament to the enduring allure of mid-20th century automotive design and engineering. As Porsche's mid-engine performance flagship for the 718 lineup, the GT4 makes a compelling argument for itself as one of the most engaging and capable driver's cars available today. Sourcing the same high-revving 4.0-liter flat-six from the 992-generation 911 GT3, the GT4 is an uncompromising expression of pure driving thrills.
This particular 2021 example, resplendent in handsome Crayon Grey, has been fitted with a full protective wrap to preserve its surfaces. The purposeful cabin, highlighted by superbly supportive carbon fiber bucket seats, keeps the driving experience firmly in focus. While some may be seduced by the ultimate bragging rights of the 911 GT3, others appreciate the more affordable yet arguably more sporting premise of the GT4. Few supercars from the 1980s captured the era's over-the-top ethos quite like the audacious Testarossa. Since its dramatic unveiling at Paris' famed Lido nightclub in 1984, the TR's outrageous styling – particularly its gaping side strakes – has made it an icon of automotive theater. This highly sought-after single-mirror or "Monospecchio" variant, produced for just two years before switching to dual door mirrors, stands out as especially desirable for collectors. Despite complaints about compromised visibility, the ultra-wide stance, gated shifter for the mid-mounted 380hp flat-12, and fighter jet-inspired cockpit made the Testarossa the definitive poster car of its time.

“The fastest lorry in the world” - An annoyed but respectful description by Ettore Bugatti of the supercharged Bentleys. Here’s an example of our Member’s 1928 4.5 litre Bentley ‘Blower’ at our facility. Despite initial skepticism, these 2-ton marvels proved their worth by clinching victory at the Le Mans 24 Hours race five times between 1924 and 1930, showcasing reliability akin to real lorries. A valued LeClub member has given us a glimpse of their prized Porsche GT3 RS, the ultimate road-legal race car.
Behind the rear axle lies the masterpiece 4.0-liter naturally aspirated flat-six engine, churning out a mind-blowing 520 horsepower. Although safely stored at LeGarage when stationary, this GT3 RS isn't just a garage queen. With 25,000 kilometers on the clock, it's been driven hard and with a grin plastered on the driver's face—serious smiles per gallon here. --- First, the heart of the matter—the engine. Porsche slapped a naturally aspirated 4.0-liter flat-six in the back. This masterpiece, which sits behind the rear axle like a mischievous child hiding a firecracker, churns out a staggering 520 horsepower. The noise it makes is like an operatic symphony composed entirely of explosions. The GT3 RS is a vision of aerodynamic perfection. Those sculpted lines and massive rear wing aren't just for show—they're for slicing through the air with the grace of a ballistic missile. And let’s not forget the wheels, forged from the dreams of every car enthusiast, wrapped in rubber so sticky it could probably cling to the ceiling. Despite its stunning looks, this Porsche is no pampered garage queen. With 25,000 kilometers on the clock, it's seen its fair share of action. Driven hard and fast, it's a machine that begs to be unleashed on the open road. Each kilometer has been devoured with a grin plastered on the driver's face, delivering serious smiles per gallon. And here's a fun tidbit: the GT3 RS's engine doesn't have a turbo. It’s naturally aspirated, which means it gets its power the old-fashioned way—by revving up to an ear-splitting 9,000 RPM. That’s higher than most helicopters. And because there's no turbo, there's no turbo lag. The power is immediate, brutal, and utterly addictive. The GT3 RS is also a marvel of modern engineering. The suspension is so sophisticated, adjusting itself perfectly to the road conditions, keeping the car glued to the tarmac even when you're taking corners at speeds that should be illegal.
The grand opening was a spectacle of camaraderie and elegance, orchestrated by none other than Jort Kelder and Yvo van Regteren Altena. These aficionados, representing the quintessence of car enthusiasts and gentlemen drivers, led a memorable opening ceremony. The event was graced by the presence of 160 distinguished guests, each sharing in the enthusiasm and refined taste for extraordinary automobiles. The night was nothing short of amazing—a true celebration of automotive excellence and lifestyle.
