Spring has quietly made its entrance and you can feel it at LeCarage. Engines that rested over winter are waking up, and there’s a shared excitement among our members to get back on the road, where our cars truly belong.

We have a wonderful season ahead. Alongside our well-known, more intimate gatherings, including the return of our Amsterdam Cruise Night on a number of Wednesday evenings, we’re preparing a number of standout moments. The Exceptionals Cup on October 5th and, of course, The Gentleman’s Drive on September 26th is already shaping up to be true highlights on this year’s calendar. So book your spots on our website now.

We opened the year with the Pommery Grand Cru Tour to Reims, and what a weekend it was. Our partners at The Duke and Pommery went out of their way to create an unforgettable experience. That in combination with our sports cars and surrounded with great people made it a weekend to remember. This grand cru tour will be repeated a couple of times the coming years so if you are interested to join, please let us know.

As we approach maximum floor capacity, we are executing a plan that will provide you with evenmore flexibility during weekends, while at the same time allowing us to welcome a new generation of sports car enthusiasts into the LeCarage community. We are aiming to have phase one completed in June and we will of course keep you posted on our progress.

We are also seeing a beautiful shift in the composition of the collection. More and more, the balance is moving toward the iconic sports cars of past decades. We are proud to see that cars from the 60s and 70s are finding their way to Amsterdam adding even more character, heritage, and depth to what is already a very special mix.

Behind the scenes, we have strengthened the team. I’m pleased to welcome Joyce Kruiter as Assistant General Manager. You’ll be seeing more of her at LeCarage. Please feel free to join her for a coffee, or simply stay a little longer when collecting your car to get acquainted.

Let’s introduce Joyce Kruiter

Hi everyone,

My name is Joyce Kruiter, and I’m the new face you’ll be seeing around LeCarage. I’ve recently taken on the role of Assistant General Manager at the Amsterdam facility, overseeing daily operations while also supporting Johan in further developing the business. I’m very much looking forward to meeting you in person so, please, don’t hesitate to stop by for a coffee so we can get to know each other.

My passion for cars grew during the years I spent working in Mexico City, after completing my studies in International Business and Management in Groningen. In Mexico, I organized large-scale automotive events and worked closely with CEOs and CMOs from brands such as Land Rover, Rolls-Royce, and Maserati, building lasting partnerships along the way for the business publishing company I worked at. Walking through LeCarage and seeing your incredible cars is a true joy. At 29, I still dream of owning a car like yours one day, though I imagine not all of you had yours at my age either… we’ll see.

For now, my focus is on getting fully into the operations and exploring how we can make LeCarage even more special for you as a unique community, whether through improvements to our services or by organizing exciting events. I would love to hear your stories, how you came to acquire your car, and the journeys behind it. Perhaps some of these are worth sharing in future editions of this newsletter.

A true dream car has recently arrived with us: a stunning Ferrari 430 Scuderia. The 430 Scuderia is one of the most extreme models from Ferrari’s modern lineup. Porsche 991.1 GT3 RS

This quarter at Lecarage was defined by precision, refinement, and a continued dedication to elevating every vehicle that enters our building. A true highlight was the complete detailing of a Porsche 991.1 GT3 RS, finished in the striking and unmistakable Miami Blue. Vehicles of this caliber demand an uncompromising approach, and this project was no exception. The car underwent an extensive, multi-stage correction process, carefully removing imperfections and restoring depth, clarity, and gloss to the paintwork. Every surface, from the bodywork to the smallest exterior details, was meticulously treated and refined. The end result is a GT3 RS that once again presents itself in its purest form: vibrant, flawless, and ready to be driven and appreciated as intended.

Smart #5 Brabus

We also look back with pride on last September’s Gentleman’s Drive, an event organized by Lecarage, bringing together like-minded enthusiasts who share a passion for automotive excellence. As part of the day, we awarded a first prize to one of the participants. The winner chose to have their Smart #5 Brabus treated at our studio, where we installed a full XPEL Paint Protection Film. This ensures the vehicle is now fully protected against the elements and everyday wear, preserving both its appearance and character while being enjoyed on the road. Projects and initiatives like these reflect the Lecarage philosophy: combining craftsmanship, community, and protection—delivered with precision, consistency, and an uncompromising eye for detail.

The beginning of 2026 reminded us exactly why we built this community.

At LeCarage Amsterdam, the year has begun with momentum. Remarkable classics recently joined our storage collection, the kind of arrival that quietly shifts the atmosphere in the building. In the detailing bays, the standard has been equally high: precision work on some truly exceptional cars, each treated with the respect and craftsmanship they deserve. It is always rewarding to see machines restored to their absolute best before returning to the road or the collection floor.

Beyond Amsterdam, February took us trackside.

Together with our partner Classic Car Ratings, I attended the Rolex 24 at Daytona.The car we sponsor finished an impressive fourth after 24 hours of disciplined, relentless racing. A result built on precision and resilience.

Our sincere thanks to United Autosports for their outstanding hospitality throughout the weekend. Their professionalism on and off the track reflects the very best of endurance racing.

We also had the privilege of witnessing a historic classic race featuring a true beauty from the past, driven by none other than Zak Brown. Zak generously took time to join us on the grid, a rare and appreciated moment at one of the world’s most demanding race events.

Daytona remains one of the purest expressions of international endurance racing. If you have never experienced it, I can only recommend placing it firmly on next year’s calendar. Let me know if you are interested and we will get you front row.

From Florida asphalt to Austrian ice.

At the F.A.T. Ice Race in Zell am See, we experienced car culture in its most unfiltered form. Exceptional machinery on snow. Extraordinary people around it. A weekend of new friendships and shared enthusiasm. Racing, sliding, and simply enjoying cars as they are meant to be enjoyed.

And indeed, towing a skier behind a race car across ice may not appear in the official FIA race programs. But at F.A.T. that is precisely the point.

This is the spirit we carry into the months ahead: considered events, meaningful partnerships, and cars prepared to be driven, not merely admired. Onwards to the next pages.

Year-End Drinks
Some of you joined us in December for our End-of-Year Drinks at LeCarage. The engines had cooled, the year was winding down, and the building felt exactly as it should, filled with good conversations and familiar faces.

Our partner Huyze Drost created a culinary experience that went beyond hospitality: refined, generous and thoughtfully composed. Food that did not compete with the evening, but elevated it. It connected the atmosphere of the space with the passion in the room.

The team from Pink Rebels completed the picture effortlessly. Professional, warm and attentive, ensuring the evening flowed naturally, with smiles and genuine presence.

Evenings like that remind us that LeCarage is more than storage or detailing. It is a place where people gather because they share something real. Thank you for joining us in such a fitting way to look back at the year. The events we hosted, the miles we covered, and the passion we shared!

Porsche 964
Early Sunday. Garage door up. You turn the key on the left. The engine wakes with that uneven, unmistakable boxer rumble. The clutch is heavy, the gearbox stubborn when cold. It asks for attention. On the first bend, you remember: you don’t just steer a 964, you balance it with the throttle. Get it right, and the car settles into the corner like it trusts you. You park it later, engine ticking as it cools. One last look back. The 964 isn’t perfect. That’s exactly why people love it.

The Porsche 964 (1989–1994) is where the classic 911 quietly became modern without losing its soul. It kept the timeless shape, but added power steering, ABS, improved suspension, and even optional all-wheel drive. In the back: a 3.6L air-cooled flat-six that feels alive: mechanical, noisy, full of character.

Lamborghini SVJ Roadster
Our latest project brought an icon into the studio: the Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster. With its naturally aspirated V12, aggressive aerodynamics and open-top design, the SVJ represents Lamborghini engineering at its absolute peak.

To ensure this supercar remains as striking as it is powerful, we carried out a complete exterior enhancement. The paintwork was meticulously polished beforebeing treated with a premium ceramic coating, providing deep gloss and long-term protection. The wheels and brake calipers received the same level of attention and protection, while the wheels themselves were fully restored to their original condition. The signature blue exterior accents were carefully reapplied, sharpening the SVJ’s distinctive character.

Inside, the entire leather interior was professionally cleaned, treated and coated, preserving its refined finish while adding durable protection against wear.

With every detail restored, refined and protected, this Lamborghini Aventador SVJ Roadster is once again ready for the road. Fresh, flawless and unmistakably LeCarage.

Ferrari Purosangue. Fully Protected. Road-Ready.
This Ferrari Purosangue, finished in the stunning Nero Purosangue, arrived as a bold expression of individuality and was treated accordingly at LeCarage. 

For this project, the vehicle underwent a full-body XPEL Paint Protection Film (PPF) installation. To achieve the highest level of precision and an almost invisible result, all necessary exterior components were carefully dismantled prior to installation. This allowed us to wrap every edge seamlessly and eliminate visible cut lines, delivering a finish that appears completely factory, only now fully protected. The self-healing XPEL PPF shields the paintwork against stone chips, road debris, and daily wear, while preserving the deep tone and richness of the Nero Purosangue finish. 

To complete the process, the Purosangue was treated with a premium ceramic coating. This enhances gloss, amplifies depth, and delivers outstanding hydrophobicperformance for long-term protection and effortless maintenance. With its protection system fully in place, this daily driver is ready to return to the road with confidence, safeguarded against the realities of everyday use.

Ferrari 365 GTC — A Legacy Preserved
We had the privilege of performing a complete preservation project on this remarkable 1969 Ferrari 365 GTC — a masterpiece of Italian design and engineering.

To safeguard its timeless elegance, the car’s entire exterior was meticulously treated with XPEL Paint Protection Film (PPF), creating an invisible yet highly durable shield against stone chips, scratches, and environmental wear — ensuring the car’s beauty endures for generations to come. During the process, several panels were refinished to achieve a perfect match with the original factory tone, restoring the car’s deep, mirror-like gloss that defines the era’s craftsmanship. The interior was fully rejuvenated, with careful deep cleaning and protection of the leather, trim, and detailing — reviving its authentic, luxurious character. To complete the project, the wheels and brake calipers were expertly cleaned, detailed, and coated — enhancing both protection and presentation.

Every step was executed with precision, respect, and reverence for the heritage of this extraordinary Ferrari. Because at LeCarage, preservation is not merely maintenance — it is an art form dedicated to legacy.

A Sneak Peek into Something Timeless
To mark the collaboration, LeClub and The Horology Club Europe have commissioned Dutch watchmaker Holthinrichs Watches to create a limited-edition timepiece, exclusively available to members. Inspired by a historic automobile yet to be revealed, and crafted with Holthinrichs’ signature blend of architecture, art, and engineering, this launch will celebrate the meeting point of watchmaking and motoring mastery.

On Sunday, March 30th, The Sunday Drive Club set off on a memorable journey to Balk Shipyard in Urk. With a history dating back to 1798, Balk Shipyard is a leader in superyacht refits and rebuilds, combining tradition with innovation.

The day started at LeClub with coffee and good company before we embarked on a scenic drive to Urk. Upon arrival, we enjoyed an insightful presentation on the shipyard’s history, expertise, and standout projects, deepening our appreciation for their craftsmanship.

Next, we toured the impressive facilities, stepping aboard a large aluminum sailing yacht under construction and learning about Balk’s advanced boat lift system. Their unique approach to yacht refits and cutting-edge techniques set them apart in the industry.

We concluded the visit with drinks and great conversations before heading back on another picturesque drive. It was a day filled with automotive passion, craftsmanship, and new connections—another unforgettable chapter for The Sunday Drive Club.

On a beautiful sunny day, our members gathered at The Duke Club in Nistelrode for a luxurious golf day that exceeded all expectations. The weather was perfect, with clear blue skies and a gentle breeze providing the ideal conditions for a day on the greens.

As members navigated the stunning course, they enjoyed breathtaking views and perfectly manicured fairways. The Duke Club’s impeccable grounds provided a serene backdrop for a day of leisure and sport. Along the way, participants indulged in refreshing drinks and delightful bites, ensuring they were well-fueled for the challenges of the course. As the sun began to set, our time on the course ended with a competitive but friendly putting contest where our guests showcased their precision and skill.

After a quick refresh and outfit change, guests gathered for a six-course dinner, prepared by The Duke Club’s renowned chefs. During the dinner, we had the pleasure of rewarding the best-playing guests with multiple prizes, in collaboration with our amazing partners who helped make this event even more special.

The GTS wasn't revolutionary, but it was a masterful blend of the best features from other 911 models.
It borrowed the Turbo's wide body and extended rear track, utilized the 408bhp 3.8-litre engine from the Sport Classic, and included center-lock wheels from the GT3. This beauty only needs 4,2 seconds to get to 100 km/h.

The revised front spoiler came from the accessories catalogue, while sports seats and active suspension management—typically options on lesser 911s—were standard. Unique touches included bespoke damper settings and a suede-lined interior. Notably, the rear seats were a no-cost option to make the car seem lighter, so be sure to tick that box unless you want to disappoint your children.

The Mercedes-Benz 190 SL, first introduced in 1955, was the brainchild of designers Karl Wilfert and Walter Häcker. They envisioned a vehicle that combined the performance of a sports car with the luxury and comfort that Mercedes-Benz is renowned for. The result? A masterpiece on wheels.

Our 1957 model exemplifies this vision with its sleek, aerodynamic lines and iconic front grille. The silver paintwork accentuates the car’s timeless design, making it a true head-turner. Step inside, and you’re greeted by a sumptuous red leather interior, meticulously restored to its original glory. The cabin, with its high-quality materials and attention to detail, offers a perfect blend of comfort and style, ensuring every drive feels like a special occasion.

Underneath its elegant exterior, the 190 SL is powered by a 1.9-liter inline-four engine that delivers 104 horsepower. Coupled with a four-speed manual transmission, this classic beauty can reach a top speed of around 106 mph (171 km/h). While modest by today’s standards, the 190 SL provides a smooth and engaging driving experience that harkens back to a golden age of motoring.

What truly sets this 1957 Mercedes-Benz 190 SL apart is its eligibility for the Mille Miglia, one of the most prestigious vintage car rallies in the world.
