You and your co-driver, the low roar of the engine settling into its rhythm as the road unfolds. Winding turns and open stretches revealing roads not yet driven, yet clearly chosen.
The journey begins at The Duke Nistelrode, where breakfast sets the tone before the road calls. A short briefing follows, routes are confirmed, engines warm. With a lunch prepared to take along, we set off - focused, instinctive, quietly exhilarating - towards the Montagne de Reims.
Arriving at Royal Champagne Hotel & Spa, there is time to refresh, to change, to pause. Space, silence and views over the vineyards allow the rhythm to slow before the day continues. From here, the road leads on to Reims.
Within the historic grounds of Domaine Vranken Pommery, champagne is not presented but explained. A private visit unfolds through the Pommery Cellars, Museum Pommery, Clos Pompadour and the winery, before the evening gathers at Villa Demoiselle for dinner - guided, intimate and rooted in craft rather than ceremony. As night settles, we return to Royal Champagne, where the day comes to a close.
